Finely detailed and unused c. 1924 real-photo postcard of crowds on the lawn and porch of a sportsstuen (lodge) in the Holmenkollen area (Vestre Aker) of Oslo, Norway! Holmenkollen has been a skiing area since it began hosting such sporting events in 1892. A nice example of the Viking Revival architectural style. Photo by Mittet & Co., marked as No. 45., and a desirable Norwegian or sports collectible in excellent condition!
